Take Action on the Judicial Vacancy Crisis

Want to get involved on this issue and bring attention to the growing crisis resulting from the excessive vacancies in the federal judiciary? For the last two years, the vacancy rate has remained steady at close to 100 empty federal seats, if not more. Justice cannot be served when there are not enough judges to administer it. And we all know that the cliché – justice delayed is justice denied – is very true for many people.

Join the ACS network to encourage Members of Congress and senior administration officials to prioritize judicial confirmations in order to ensure a fully staffed and functioning judiciary that can respond to the needs of Americans seeking justice. Work with ACS staff to generate national attention about vacancies on the federal bench and the resulting problems by conducting briefings for reporters, writing op-ed articles and blog posts, or through other means to inform the public.
